How it works
Enter the room size and tile size in the same units, then add a waste percentage. The calculator divides area by tile area and rounds up, then applies waste.
Formula
Tiles needed = ceil(room area ÷ tile area). Recommended quantity = ceil(tiles needed × (1 + waste ÷ 100)).
Example
A 4 × 3 m room with 0.3 × 0.3 m tiles and 10% waste needs 134 tiles for coverage and 148 tiles to buy.
